Shooting a great portrait is only half the puzzle, as your post-processing has to back that up to create a complete winning image. This fantastic video will show you the process of editing this portrait for show-stopping results.
Coming to you from our good friend, Pye Jirsa, over at SLR Lounge, this great video tutorial will show you his process of editing a portrait using a combination of Lightroom and Luminar 4. This is basically how I work on a lot of my photos nowadays, using Lightroom for cataloging and a lot of global edits and Luminar 4 as a plug-in for more creative work like sky replacement. That is exactly what Jirsa uses it for here. As you will see in the video, he does not have the sort of interesting sky that would complement the water and really complete the portrait, but thankfully, Luminar's AI sky replacement function handles the task quite easily. This is one of the reasons I really enjoy working with the program, as the ease and efficiency of completing tasks like this make it easy to expand and explore your creativity without too much time or effort. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Jirsa.
