A Review of the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Mirrorless Lens

The 70-200mm f/2.8 lens is the workhorse of choice for photographers in a wide range of genres, but such lenses are both heavy and quite expensive. For those who want the versatility of those focal lengths but don't need that f/2.8 aperture, a 70-200mm f/4 lens is a far cheaper and more portable option. This excellent video review takes a look at Canon's mirrorless version of the lens, the RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM.

Coming to you from Dustin Abbott, this awesome video review takes a look at the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens. No doubt, f/2.8 is the preference of a lot of professionals and is needed for a lot of different work in which light is at a premium or fast shutter speeds are needed. On the other hand, someone such as a landscape photographer might actually prefer the f/4 version, which saves a lot of weight in a bag they are likely carrying long distances. On top of that, Canon's RF 70-200mm f/4L is over $1,000 cheaper than the f/2.8L, but still offers impressive image quality and performance.

Check out the video above for Abbott's full thoughts on the lens.
