Álvaro Lamas

I’m Álvaro Lamas, the human being behind the project Lost in Woodlands Photography.

I feel at home in the woods, wandering amongst century-old trees, glimpsing as the mist sweeps down the mountain side to where the cold and crystalline waters of the rivers roar.
I feel at home wandering through those old paths that are hardly more than fuzzy trails in the undergrowth, and that lead me to places that hide amazing treasures.
I feel at home when I sit on the cold mossy rocks, still wet from the night dew, while the murmur of the waterfalls is the only thing that accompanies my thoughts.
I feel at home when I stand in the highest cliffs, chiseled by the erosion of the elements thorugh millennia, listening to the roar of the waves lapping against them and marveling at the power of the oceans.

Nature is my Home & There is where I belong.
