Want to Be a Better Wedding Photographer? Try Street Photography

Wedding photography is a challenging, high-pressure genre, and anything you can do to be as prepared as possible will help you to ensure that when the big day comes, you can deliver the shots your clients want. One way to improve your abilities that you might not have considered is street photography, and this excellent video will show you why you should practice it.

Coming to you from John Branch IV Photography, this excellent video discusses how you can use street photography as a means for improving your wedding photography skills. While the actual creative output is often quite different, street photography can be an interesting emulation of the wedding environment, with constant motion, continually evolving compositions, and the need to be quick with your eye and camera in order to create compelling shots. This can make it a very good way to improve your wedding photography skills on your own time and without the higher pressure of a ceremony situation. Check out the video above for the full rundown.

Do you ever write your own article without riding on domeone else's talent and story? Sad...

You really should check before you make such a statement. Yes, FS does use a lot of videos for articles, but they also produce original content. Not so sad.

I was talking about Alex Cooke not FS. So it is still sad

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Did you even check to see how many original articles Alex has posted?

Yes. The last 12 articles that appear going back to 3 days are all videos others made where he just adds a paragraph. This is pathetic and indicative of many poor writers who dont have it within themselves to create their own content. Im sure if i go back further ill be batting pretty high

Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

No fight, Pat. Just trying to get the member straightened out. Alex posts videos from others, but he has also posted a lot of original stuff. Besides, if one doesn't like the content here, one can ask for his initiation fees and monthly dues. No...wait! It doesn't cost a penny to come here and yet, people pi$$ and moan about it. Heck, I'm guilty when it comes to injecting too much politics into the mix but I know in this case, Alex is a steady contributor when it comes to original content.

Its not a fight but rather my observation. Last 12 out of 12 articles posted in last 3 days are videos others made where he just adds a paragraph. Sad! Any further comments David?

You've decided to skip Alex's whole body of work to point out what satisfies your assertion. Suggestion: When you see an article that Alex posted, skip it. It'll reduce your stress factor.

I actually went further back in time and it is Sad! Curious why you ate sticking up for hom unless you work for FS. The facts speak. Check it out for yourself. Looks like he has gotten lazy or lost his ability to write his own articke from scrstch like some of the other writers

I don't work for FStoppers. I just grow weary about whiners that come to a FREE WEBSITE and piss and moan about the content.

You are very protective snd concerned, so im trally eondering about your motives. Btw, most photo websites are free and i enjoy reading great articles bit when i see something i dont like, i speak out. Your comments above show that you ate bothered and for no reason as your name is not Alex Cooke. There has been some articles written sbout certain websites and how they use others articles to put up on their own sites. Not very professional since most writers pride themselves in writing their own content. There are a few on FS that have written great articles. Sad they keep the ones with no originslity or content. Surely you must agree. One bad apple does not spoil the rest but i wish FS would wake up and move to a higher level of content to atgract even more reafers.

No, I don't agree. It's a private webpage and the owners conduct it as they see fit. Apparently, FS doesn't agree with you, either. I guess that puts my opinion in a more favorable light. We'll just have to revert to the old cliche....we'll have to agree to disagree.

FS is not private but a public webpage, thats why you and I are able to see it and post comments.
Finally its Alex and you who dont agree with me, and your opinion os not more favourable but rather your own opinions. My list i pulled up is based on last 3 or 4 months of his 1 paragraph posts of someone ekses video that is a fact FS nor Alex nor you can dispute as its posted in FS for all to read. Do your homework first before engaging rather than depending on heresay.

FS is private in the sense that its owners dictate content, not you nor I. The owners like Alex's contribution which means that it will continue, much to your chagrin.
