Instagram continues to grow as a legitimate tool for photographers to feature their work, build connections, and find clients. As such, developing an efficient workflow on the app is something most photographers should consider. This helpful video will show iPhone users a neat trick to save time.
In case you didn't know, time is money, money is power, power is pizza, pizza is knowledge, so the more time you save, the more money you have to spend on pizza (or something like that). Anyway, crafting a good Instagram post does take some time, but if you're frequently posting the same few styles of genres of images and you own an iPhone, this trick from Chris Lambeth will save you a good amount of time typing out hashtags. It takes advantage of the iPhone's expanding phrases shortcut, which lets you designate a specific string of text to trigger the insertion of some other block of text. Just don't make the mistake I did the first time I used this of using a string of text you would otherwise type out in different circumstances; it leads to some very annoying situations. Head over to Lambeth’s blog post for the full rundown.

Agreed this shortcut is hugely helpful. I got it from an article back in February > https://fstoppers.com/originals/fastest-easiest-shortcut-posting-hashtag...
Great find! ;)
When I read "time is money" and then saw that I had to sit through a video, I winced. But this video moves at lightning speed. Thanks for the fast, clear, get-to-the-point tip.
Or just post it on a computer/desktop which is far more simple and faster with copying and pasting from my notes app than doing it on the iPhone.
For mobile use it is a good trick UNLESS you need different hashtags for your images. None of my images carry the same hashtags. I could only imagine it for using the "core" that you use every time. Other than that - nice trick.
Only somewhat useful. Display Purposes will update the tag list for given words so it's best to do a fresh lookup.
Super useful tip. Thanks for posting!
