How to Change Eye Color Using Lightroom

Not all of us were born with our preferred eye color, and given that we can't change genetics, you will sometimes have clients who want to change their eye color. It is a pretty straightforward process, and this excellent video tutorial will show you how you can do it without even having to leave Lightroom.

Coming to you from Anthony Morganti, this great tutorial will show you how you can change the eye color of your subjects using Lightroom. The technique comes from an old trick that involves desaturating the area first, then adding the desired color. Most of the time, people try to change the color by using the hue, saturation, and luminance panel, but the problem with this method is that it adjusts colors relative to what is already there, making it difficult or even impossible to make more drastic changes. By desaturating first, you work on an absolute scale by adding color instead of changing it, which allows you to use whatever color you want in a direct and easy manner. Just be sure not to go overboard, as fake eyes are easily noticed by the viewer. Check out the video above for the full rundown.
