How to Use Lightroom Brushes to Sculpt Your Images

Often, the process of shooting is only half of what it takes to create a good landscape photograph. The edit is where you bring the image to life and add your personal touch. This fantastic video tutorial will show you how to use the adjustment brushes in Lightroom to sculpt the light in your photos and create dynamic, eye-catching images.

Coming to you from Gary McIntyre Photographer, this great video tutorial will show you how to use the adjustment brushes in Lightroom to sculpt the light in a landscape image. Shaping the light using the brushes is a fantastic way to emphasize different elements in the frame and to draw the viewer's eyes to wherever you would like it to go. I also like to use radial filters for this purpose. The trick with both of these is to remember to use a soft feather to make things blend nicely and to build up the effect slowly, as it can be very easy to overdo it. Check out the video above for the full rundown from McIntyre.
