Last year I was lucky enough to witness bio-luminescent algae at multiple spots along the California coastline. On this particular night we had planned to shoot the milky way and to our surprise we were greeted to bright streaks of blue in the water with each crashing wave. Definitely a night I will never forget. This image is a stack of 15 images all with the same settings and camera location.
