This photo of St. Mary's Falls in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA was taken in early July, 2017. We had gotten to the falls midafternoon and the sun was still high overhead, blowing out the white water below the upper most falls. We waited a few hours and as the sun got lower, its light began to pick up the mist from the falls, bringing the highlights back in check and allowing up to capture this photo.
