Taken in a pretty touristy area of Iceland, but I managed to keep everyone out of frame while I got my friend setting up his shot. I wanted him in the photo for a sense of scale (he's 6'5"), but he didn't know I was shooting him. Luckily, he didn't move much for the 2 second exposure.

I think including your friend in the image really bumps this up a star level for me, without him the photo would still be technically well shot (colours, exposure etc) but I think also a bit boring and would lose the sense of scale. It's not easy getting a unique shot in a cliche place but I think you've done a really nice job!

Thanks! We're from Florida (highest elevation is 345ft), so I felt a need to show scale with some of the places we shot while we were over there. Otherwise it would be hard to believe for friends & family when I posted the shots!

Haha yupp I get ya there, I come from another very flat part of the world in rural South Australia, I was always so impressed to see images that show the scale of some landscapes.
