By all accounts, the composition checks out. Interesting use of lines... but other than that, there doesn't seem to be much going on.
Sorry, I wish I could provide a solution, but I think this is about as good as a photo of this particular subject can be without advance processing of some sort.
You seem to have an eye for composition, so stick to it!
