The Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri.

I did some scouting on internet before a business trip to St. Louis. I knew there was a place where you can get the Arch reflecting in a retention pond. It took me a little while but I finally found the pond. It also took some finagling to get the entire reflection of the arch in frame. I've been accused of faking this photo. I guess people didn't realize this pond is there. I think it may be fairly new?

I blended 2 photos together to create this shot. A golden hour shot was my base layer. Then as the sun went down, the Arch started glowing a brilliant golden color. I used photoshop to do the editing and blending. This was shot on a Sony a7iii and 12-24 gmaster lens.

Kyle good work, especially doing your homework! I’ve not been but often wondered how I would have photographed the Gateway. Such a challenging subject and you met it man! Congratulations.

Hi Paul, thank you for the kind words! I'd be lying if I didn't say this is one of my personal favorites as well.
