This shot has a special meaning for me. I didn't know it at the time, but today i cherish it.

Here's the story behind the shot :

Whilst exploring iceland, I was lucky enough to arrive at the famous Skogafoss early morning without all the massive crowds on location.

Behind me and arriving as well, were 2 girls in strong yellow jackets. It was impossible not to notice them.

They got closer to the waterfall and i approached them to ask for a shot.
2 best friends from Poland exploring Iceland in a van, just enjoying nature on their own. My kinda people!

I had to ask for the shot! That yellow would be ideal to stand against the water.

We exchanged emails and said our goodbyes.

A few days later i sent them the image. They loved it and invited me to join them the next day.

We ended up meeting again in Reykjavic, had a blast, and today the girl with the yellow boots is my girlfriend :)
