3.02 - "Solid"

Step into the Marina... This is a marina pool in Clevedon UK and during every high tide the water is changed with fresh sea water. This was during the transition between the golden hour and blue hour at sunset and roughly at high tide. On the other side of the estuary are the southern hills of Wales. I'm a minimalistic photographer and seek locations that can be minimalistic as much as possible.

Taken with Nikon D850. Yes I still use a DSLR haven't found a reason to change all my shots are 100% manual. Don't need a mirrorless yet. I transitioned from film (Canon T70) to DSLR in 2015 that was only because it was costing too much for service / repair. Nothing against mirrorless will it improve my photographs... I don't think so...

This is a 7 min exposure for the normal reasons to smooth out the water and to remove the swimmers. ISO 64 / F8. Lens Nikon 16-35 F4 at 16mm

The steps are position in the middle hopefully to entice the viewer to go for a swim.

BTW... I do watch your videos and they are great and basically from your information is why I haven't found a reason to move to a mirrorless system..

Keep the good work going..
