i was walking along the banks of the river passing through the center of hiroshima, and my eye was attracted by the reflection of the city lights on the water, making the silhouette of this heron appear while hunting and giving the photo a painted look. i used a slow shutter speed (1/6) to give this effect of movement to the water. i didn't want the detail of the heron but only to see its silhouette stand out.
