in a park in puno peru on the shores of lake titicaca a man smokes in front of the sun around 3pm. i wanted to use strong contrasts like spanish painters of the 16th century and only reveal the silhouette of the man. the contrast is natural and has not been modified in post-production. i like the way the light reveals his profile and highlights his facial expression
