it was 5 am, the sun was rising on the cactus island in the salar de uyuni in bolivia. the sky is still black and still sends the stars and the sun barely appears diffusing this soft light. i modified this photo in black and white and by accentuating even more the contrasts between the sky and the light. i photographed this giant cactus of more than three meters taken from a low angle.
