This photo was taken at Dongguksa Temple in Gunsan, South Korea. I'm stationed near there in the Air Force and a friend and I rode our bikes about 20 miles round trip into the nearest city to look around and take some photos. The building in the image isn't the temple itself, rather a secondary building used either as a residence for the monks or some sort of administrative purpose. The temple was built in 1909 by the Japanese during their brutal occupation of Korea, and is one of the few surviving Japanese style temples in South Korea. I'm not sure why the teddy bears are out there, I guess they wanted to enjoy the nice summer day.
