A photograph can be taken within seconds. This photograph - as many others - requires much more, though. In order to capture this, I spent two hours at the exact same spot to continuously take photos over the entire time span starting from the golden hour, through sunset all the way into the blue hour. That way, I could capture the entire event of the sunset in one single photograph. This technique is the only way to get a photograph during sunset with all the city lights turned on.
And isn't that what watching a sunset over the city feels like?
All merged pictures have been taken in aperture priority on F8.0 with my Fujifilm X-T3 and the 16-55mm F2.8 lens.
