My father in law loves to swim. When he comes to visit us in San Diego he and my mother in law spend every day on La Jolla Shores, where he swims from the Cove to Scripps Pier and back. Back home in Slovenia, he has a long-running battle with the Bled tour boat guides because he likes to swim back and forth through the lake, slowing the boats down as they try to ferry tourists to the church on the island in the middle of the lake.
Nobody was swimming when I took this picture. It was before dawn in mid December, snowing, foggy, and pretty miserable. Yebime je bilo mrzlo.
