On a rainy day during covid times, my wife and I went on a hike to explore a hidden waterfall in Bali. During these times, in order to be able to travel to Bali, tourists had to apply for a special visa and quarantine for 7 days in Jakarta. It was quite troublesome, but after all we were rewarded with an absolute empty island. We had these places literally for ourselves, where usually big groups of tourists would be. We stayed in fancy hotels being the only guests for quite affordable rates and really lived like kings there. It was one of the most rewarding travel experiences we've ever had. I took this image with my Nikon D800 and the Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 at 14mm f5.6 and 1/100sec. The lens had a lot of water drops and fog on it, hence the very soft look. But i think it gives the picture a nice dreamy look.
