Doing street photography in Jakarta, Indonesia is a very different experience.

I’ve never experienced people being so happy to have their picture taken by a stranger. A lot of times people even thanked me (or sent me hearts, like this guy), because they took it as a compliment, that I found them and their situation worth photographing.
