Bologna Pizza 2014
My long-term project, “ONCE,” originated as a concept of capturing fleeting moments of human connection with strangers long before social media. It has become particularly poignant in today’s technological society, where disconnection often prevails and genuine interactions can often feel rare.
This image features a triangulation of personalities, and taken from the dog's eye level provides a more powerful narrative. It not only captures my interaction but also shifts the viewer’s perspective, making it more relatable and immersive highlighting how even small moments, like those shared around something as communal as pizza, can serve as reminders of our shared humanity.
