Merzouga, Morocco

After taking a picture of my Moroccan friend at around 2am under the light of a full moon, we ventured even farther into the desert, this time by camel, where we finally sat down to watch the sunrise. As he sat with his camel nearby while the sun started to peak over the horizon, I took this photo. It was one of those moments that is impossible to describe in words, but I hope I captured the mood of the experience in the image.
