The solar eclipse just around 100 miles away in South Carolina and a hotel room on a Air Force Base with a lot of rooms. This with my new A7RM2 and new FE 24-240mm F3.5-6.3 OSS and first ever Solar Eclipse, I found that my tripod did not allow an almost vertical up at high noon capture so hand held captures on my back and standing for captures of people in awe with those glasses on but for just 2 minutes I got more than 100 images from beginning to end with no filters excerpt for the first two that had nothing and removed it, everyone warned of lens and camera damage if no filter was used after I learned that is what to do. But thanks to IBIS and OSS Hand Holding worked. you can see some stars also if you zoom in.
