While on an anniversary trip with my wife to London, we spent a few hours at the Tate Modern. As a photographer, I sometimes enjoy the buildings as much as the art within. There's an outdoor balcony on the upper floors and I stepped out for some air and people watching below when I caught this child chasing some pigeons. I was immediately drawn to the bright yellow coat and red shoes against the monochrome cement ground and caught just a few frames before others wandered into the scene. I love how much energy and story there is in such a minimal shot. Nikon D800, 24-120 zoom @ 120mm, ISO 400, 1/250 @ f/9.
