We traveled to Hilo, Hawai'i Island to reminisce warm memories of visiting my grandparent every summer while growing up. My mother had relocated to Oahu for better job opportunities and experience a bigger city life. Hilo is so special to me...the lifestyle is suits me fine and the people are warm & friendly.

This image was captured as Hurricane Hone approached Hawai'i Island. We safely made it home before Hilo International Airport was closed to all flights.
