I've always dreamed of photographing fishermen throwing their nets, and I was lucky to have such an opportunity. The image was taken early in the morning in Amarapura, Mandalay. The biggest challenge was working with the backlight from the rising sun. On one hand, I wanted to preserve the details; on the other, I didn’t want to overexpose the sun. I was fortunate to have a layer of morning haze that diffused the rising sun, lowering the contrast and allowing me to capture the image with a harmonious exposure.
