Some photos happen almost spontaneously, like this one. I was hiking on a trail on my way to a waterfall somewhere in New England, and this little corner caught my attention. I wonder if that's what people mean when they say that it's the journey, not the destination, that matters.
I eventually reached the waterfall, but the highlight of the day for me is still this little semi-remote corner of New England with its beautiful fall colors
