1.88 - "Needs Work" 

I shot this photo of the Niles Flying A Gas Station in Fremont California earlier this month on my first roll of film with a Rolleiflex Automat. It’s a camera from the early 1950s that originally belonged to my uncle. He recently passed it down to me, which made this experience even more meaningful. I loaded the camera with Kodak Portra 400. Slowed down and enjoyed the process. Shooting film like this really gave me a new appreciation for what it meant to be a photographer back then. We’ve got it so easy now. Currently shooting with a Sony a7R V.
