This photo was taken hand held on a Sony NEX 6 and a kit lens. This camera helped me get my start in photography. This photo is special because it was my first time visiting Yosemite National park. My parents never would take me to locations such as this because they were very anti social. So instead I went with a group of friends and I was able to capture a moment I longed for, a woman with her child enjoying one of the world's most beautiful and scenic views. The 21 year old version of me loved this photo for its family themes and natural framing of an old structure. I edited out several individuals in the background to create this shot. Beyond that I increased the shadows, added my own preset which makes the photo more warm, decreases clarity, and increases sharpness. Now that I am 30 years old, I shoot on an A7III with a 24-50 G lens. I'm looking to upgrade to the A7V once it officially releases. And when I do I want to visit Yosemite with my wife to make a new memory.
