I wanted to mix the feeling of a selfie and studio photogaphy. I gave the models direction on posing and then picked the best of each one to make this composite.
Top light was an fj400 and the light facing them was fj200
Shot on Canon.
I'm curious as to why you would want to create an image that looks like a screenshot from your phone. It completely detracts from the overall image and lowers the quality of your portfolio.
Im sorry you are that out of touch. Also, work on your photography before you have this much audacity. The strongest photos you have are clearly from a workshop you paid to be a part of. Another day another old whiteman with the fucking nerve.
And just to be clear, its perfectly ok to wonder and to ask. However, at your big old age I know damn well you were educated on how to. Seems you need a reminder.
LOL. You think I learned from workshops? You think my work is bad? Are you being objective? Or is that just your emotions and fragile ego talking?
I took a basic course in college, and then a photojournalism course the following semester. Everything else has been self taught through trial and error. Maybe when you get your lighting ratios right or are good enough to capture lightning in a well composed photo, I'll consider what you have to say.
Until then, I'll just see this for what it is... The Dunning-Kruger Effect.
So you INTENDED to do that??
What are you getting at?
