During my March 2023 wild camping winter expedition to Dovrefjell National Park, Norway, I got the opportunity to spend some time with a herd of wild Musx Ox. One very windy day I observed this musk ox tentatively circling around the bigger adult after being chased away from its resting spot. The position of its legs and the motion in its fur made it look like the young musk ox was dancing around its much more impressive rival.
