Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada was about to close down a lot of their trails for the summer due to the extreme heat, so I headed out for a shoot a few days before the cut-off. It started out hot with clear skies, but luckily the clouds rolled in, which made the heat more bearable, the skies interesting and softer light. Photo taken of White Dome Rd.
