Most mornings, during my vacation on the island of Crete, Greece, I would go out at sunrise. At that time, the beach was empty, and only a few teenagers were taking selfies or videos against the backdrop of the rising sun. That’s when I came across this man doing their morning exercises on the beach. The sun was beginning to rise and shine more brightly, and the beach would soon be filled with people, and noise, in just a few minutes.
