The composition shows a young child walking with his racket, his form appearing as a dark, shimmering silhouette. A compelling element is the interplay between the real and the reflected; while the player is shown as a fluid reflection, the yellow tennis ball is the actual object, sitting solidly on the sand as a wave rushes in. In post-processing, I emphasized the intense golden hues to heighten the contrast between the real-world ball and the dream-like reflection of the child.
