I wanted to create a dialogue between the sacred and the mundane. Instead of photographing the angel statue in a traditional way, I chose a low and tilted perspective that brought a modern streetlamp into the same visual space. By framing them together against an empty sky, both elements appear equally important, almost as if they were confronting or complementing each other. Converting the image to black and white emphasized the graphic contrast of shapes and textures, while stripping away any distracting colors.
