I went into this photo wanting to try something unique for the photo. There's a local distillery that makes a great coffee flavored tequila, so I decided to take some photos of it. I decided to take a cereal box and cut out the shape of the bottle so that I could put a light under the bottle to give it a slight glow and surround it with coffee beans. I used a clear drawer I found in my attic to give a semi-transparent surface to put the light under. I only had an Apurture MC to put under the bottle, so I used a white plastic bag to spread out the light more. I used a c-stand and put a tripod head on it to hold the camera above the bottle. Because the aperture light isn't as bright as a flash, I turned off all the lights in the room and used a combination of flash with a slow shutter. This lets the majority of the image be lit by flash and the glow to be captured by the slow shutter. I created a BTS video that I will be posting on my Instagram. @holmen_media
