When I get tired of the ordinary I like to create abstract images by using Intentional Camera Movement (ICM). This image was made by slowing my shutter speed down to 1/6 second and rotating the camera while I exposed the image. This image was made in my almond orchard on a foggy morning. I converted to monochrome in Lightroom. I also increased contrast and dehaze while making other minor adjustments.

I find these kinds of images hard to judge. I think a lot of what makes it succeed or fail depends on the context and the interpretation. Personally, this image makes me imagine someone is being chased through the orchard. It's got an eerie tone.

I feel abstract art of this nature requires the viewer to pause and get a sense of the emotions that are conveyed.

I love your creative use of ICM on this image Jared, and image I would be proud of taking myself!

I love this concepts! We both did the same thing in our entrys but I like your composition better. Those trees wow. Same concept but such a difference.
