This photograph focuses on a fragment of modern architecture, reducing it to an abstract composition of lines and shapes. By tilting the perspective, the structural beams intersect with the diagonal pattern of the roof, creating a visual rhythm that feels more like graphic design than a conventional architectural image. The intention was to push the familiar into the unfamiliar—showing a building as pure form.
The picture was taken in Freiburg im Breisgau/ Germany with a Sony A7IV and a Sigma Art 50 mm 1.4 lens.
