Red autumn

One of my absolute favorite autumn motifs. This is a private park, but open for public, at an old manor, called Rød, it means red. Each autumn these beech trees makes the reds, yellows and orange color that burst into an amazing firery display of colors.

But it's a bit difficult to get all the elements in place at the same time. Especially when you don't live right nearby. And it is only about one week each year that this could work, and that is the last week in October.

The yellow-orange leaves on the trees, while there are enough brown-red leaves on the ground. And also before the gardener removes the leaves before winter. Then there should be blue sky and the sun low enough that it sticks out between the trees to create shadows on the ground.

This picture worked well for me with all my requirements exactly 5 years ago.

I used my Nikon D750, 24-70mm f2.8 @ 24mm, F13, ISO100, tripod, three photos bracketed, edit in LrC
