I used a shallow depth of field to isolate the subject, allowing the vibrant reds and greens to stand out against the smooth, dark background.

The image works well as a large print due to its sharp detail, strong contrast, and minimalist composition, which draws attention directly to the intricate textures of the plant. A key challenge was achieving precise focus on the small subject while managing natural light to avoid harsh highlights and maintain color accuracy.
