While this is in the realm of travel / street photography, wedding season is nearly upon us and it's a happy time for many couples. I chose this shot because it does convey emotion and romanticize Tokyo Station (where this was taken).

During a recent trip to Japan, I couldn't believe the amount of people who were using this station as a backdrop for engagement / wedding shoots and two couples who were setup almost symmetrically, gave me the opportunity. What I had to do though, since they were in complete darkness, was wait for their photographers who were shooting with OCF to light them up. Essentially I was "borrowing" the flash. I spammed the shutter when it looked like the respective photogs were going to shoot and got the image I wanted (with a little compositing).

A little creativity, skill, and luck, I like to think that captures a sign of the times.
