I created this image by waiting patiently for my brothers dog, Billy, to become too curious when people began walking by the road beyond the backyard fence. When curiosity distracted Billy I grabbed my camera phone and snuck up behind him and began lining my shot, capturimg the sunset on top of his head.
The gear I used was my smartphone camera phone (Samsung Galaxy S25 ULTRA and I edited this photo using Lightroom).
The challenges I faced taking this photo was trying my best to wait for Billy to remain still enough so I can simply line up the sunset on top of his head area. I captured many photos because he kept twitching his head to the people's movements while walking by. I finally captured the perfect moment of him combined with the sunset giving off an emotional feeling.
