I created this image of the local river running through my town when a heavy rainfall and thunderstorm warning was in effect. I happen to be walking through town when I perfectly came upon this scene and I knew I found something special here. I was standing in the middle of a bridge road running over top the river and I centered myself to align with the rivers center, there was also a huge shrubbery of trees aligning the sides of the river creating a more characteristic result in my opinion.
This was early on when I first started photography so I had a cheaper smartphone camera at the time when I captured this picture, (Samsung Galaxy A52 5G). I edited this photo in Lightroom.
There wasn't much challenges I faced when capturing this special moment...other then my life being on the line during a thunderstorm warning.
