A Vietnam war veteran visits the wall in DC. He is on this trip to the nation's capitol as a part of the North Dakota/Minnesota Honor Flight which flies vets for a three day trip no charge to them. This veteran found the name of a high school friend. He shared that he had seen him just a matter of days before he would ultimately be killed in an attack. As he went up to touch the name on the wall he was visibly emotional. I was covering the Honor Flight as a member of the media and almost completely broke down because of this. Shot on a Nikon Z9 on a Sigma 50 mm art lens. f/4 1/400
