I was visiting all the Roman remains in Nimes, France, when I spotted these two young ladies enjoying the sun on the side of a 2000 year old temple (Maison Carrée). I liked the contrast between the ages, of course, but also the contrast between the formality of the Roman architecture, and the casual posture of the women. Old and new.
