This was a directed street portrait shot in London using a Sony A7iii with Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 lens. The iconic London phone booth was used as a natural frame and an intimate scene unfolding in the middle of the busy city. The image was converted to black and white to strip away the distractions and let emotion carry the frame entirely. That genuine smile and a man completely in love is the heart of the image. The challenge was to direct the couple and preserving the connection in the busy city. Several attempts were made before that moment of happiness appeared.
