"Aftermath" conveys the loss of a homestead. I stumbled upon the scene during a hike, and had only the equipment in my day pack. Winter sun was on the way down. A Canon G10 compact camera made the image, assisted by a radio triggered Vivitar 252 flash. Post processing was limited to removing evidence of the flash placement.
