I was on an early morning run around the lake and saw the capitol building backlit by a golden sunrise. So the next day I brought my camera/tripod to capture it.

I shot this with an Zeiss 18mm at ISO 400 1/30 and cranked the white balance to overemphasize the warmth.

What I captured my attention was how the subject looked like a sound wave file and how coincidentally the body of water is the Puget Sound.

This is a cool shot...although, since your shooting landscape, I think if you had used a 30mm lens to draw the building closer, would have a better effect.
